Castle vibes in Caerphilly 🏰
Steve's warm welcome felt like visiting an old chommie, with tips for exploring the area. The en-suite bathroom was a real treat, and I loved having so many windows with a lekker view of the valley! Plus, brekkie options were a solid way to start the day.
The TV could have been in a better spot, made it a bit awkward to watch from bed.

The Family Suite was cozy, but noise from upstairs kept us awake on our second night.

The Family Suite was cozy and very clean. The homemade breakfast exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoyed the vegetarian options. The warm welcome from Steve really set a positive tone. It's situated in a quiet area, making it perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. the steep stairs to the room might not be ideal for everyone, especially those with mobility concerns. Although the room had all the necessary amenities, the heating made it feel a bit stuffy at times. Nevertheless, the convenient location near Caerphilly Castle was a major plus for us. we would definitely consider returning in the future.
